About Sanna Stanley

Sanna Stanley is an Author/Illustrator with twenty years of experience of sharing her passion for visual arts and creative writing into classrooms. Because Sanna believes that regardless of ability each student can see with their own "artists' eye," she facilitates accessible and classroom-relevant programs that elicit creative thinking and inspire students to create and communicate personal meaning. Sanna has an MFA in Visual Essay from The School of Visual Arts, NY; an MA in Painting from Marshall University, WV; and a BS in Psychology. She has had extensive training in DEI, social-emotional earning, and participated in the eight-hour Artists as Educators Seminar, Mapping the Journey: Planning Effective Residencies for Students developed by the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
