Following the Mystery: A Science Adventure is an interactive science assembly that invites students to think like scientists by using observation, curiosity, and critical thinking to solve mysteries about the world around them.

Through original songs, storytelling, puppetry, humor, and audience participation, students discover the habits of mind that are at the heart of STEM learning: asking questions, making careful observations, testing ideas, recognizing patterns, and drawing conclusions. Rather than simply learning scientific facts, students experience the excitement of scientific discovery as they work together to investigate surprising mysteries.

Designed for elementary students, the program encourages curiosity while supporting science inquiry, problem-solving, and critical thinking.

Students will:
Practice careful observation and scientific thinking
Ask questions, make predictions, and test ideas
Discover patterns and solve mysteries through investigation
Experience science as a creative process of exploration and discovery

Every performance is interactive, engaging, and designed to leave students wondering, questioning, and excited to continue exploring the world around them.

A gym, cafeteria, auditorium, library, or multipurpose room where students can comfortably gather works well. I typically require a performance area approximately 8 feet wide by 8 feet deep with access to a standard electrical outlet. Because this is a multimedia presentation, a projector and screen, smart board, or TV with an HDMI connection is required. If your school does not have projection equipment available, I can provide a projector and portable screen if necessary.
