Classes 1 & 2: Classroom

Class 3: auditorium, gym, outdoor space or cafeteria to set up song lodge.
I can create a unity among students through interactive call and response song chants and group drumming

I can bring awareness of the mind/body/spirit connection we all share as human beings.

I can show students the power of intention and how it applies to achieving their dreams and goals.
The Healing Song Lodge is a combination of 3 day visits to the same class. Classes 1 & 2 focus on the power of intention and how to apply it to our lives. With the interaction of song chants and group dance (Round Dance and Stomp Dance) students experience the healing power of working together as a group, learning the importance of paying attention to each other, movement together and respect for each others strengths and weaknesses.

Class # 2 expands upon the power of putting words together in the form of song to amplify our intentions to make our lives better. For example, if an individual is having a challenge at home or in school, certain songs can be sung to transform the challenging situation towards resolution.

Class #3 The Song Lodge is set up. All students enter and sit in a circle. With the teachings of class 1 & 2, we now experience a time of setting our intentions, expressing our gratitude for things, and sharing in an experience of interactive song and good words between us all. It concludes with a send off intention for all.
