The RapOet Khaiim performs between 40 and 60 mins (depending on the needs of the hosting teachers). Students engage with call and response, based on numerous positive phrases and choruses in the genre of Positive Rap, Hip-Hop, & Spoken Word.
By the end of this short assembly, students will have a basic awareness of the 4 Principles, and foundational Elements of Hip-Hop culture (often overlooked in mainstream media). Participants will have a chance to co-create a positive rap about grattitude, learn a simple dance move, and foster a spirit of unity rather than perfectionism.
