Step into a world where poetry leaps off the page and art bursts into color with our "Poetic Art and Sight Words" workshop! Each session begins with a spellbinding poetry reading, where students explore the vivid sounds of onomatopoeias and the striking comparisons of similes. Students will dive into a whirlwind of interactive sight word adventures and hands-on activities, bringing ekphrastic, concrete, free verse, and Fibonacci styles to life. With a treasure trove of materials and writing tools, they'll craft their own poetic masterpieces and unleash their full creative potential.

As the hour culminates, students will gather in a vibrant sharing circle, their voices merging in a chorus of support and celebration. Choose "Poetic Art and Sight Words" to unleash creativity, and forge a connected, confident classroom. The "Poetic Art and Sight Words" program nurtures students' creative and analytical skills across all grade levels. Each activity fosters personal expression, artistic synthesis, and fluency, building confidence and a deep appreciation for both poetry and visual art.
