I perform Mexican folkloric songs and dances dressed in traditional attire. This is an interactive program where students are asked to sing and dance along with the performance using Spanish vocabulary. The students will also learn different dance steps. I will also present a five-minute PowerPoint presentation (teacher must inform me in advance about any preferred theme). Suggested themes include: Cinco De Mayo (May); Mexican Independence Day (September); Hispanic Heritage Day (October); and Day of the Dead (November).
