The production runs for approximately 110 minutes. After the show, students will have the chance to meet the talented cast during a 10-15-minute meet-and-greet and Q&A session. In total, this experience will last around 120 minutes.
Offsite Performance

Playhouse on Park is located located at 244 Park Rd, West Hartford, CT 06119. Buses can find parking available on the nearby side streets.
We are pleased to offer two student matinees for groups to attend. The available dates are Thursday, March 20, at 10:30 AM and Friday, March 28, also at 10:30 AM. Offsite,

We are thrilled to provide an exciting array of materials to enhance your students' theatre experiences. Each participant will receive an electronic study guide, carefully crafted to spark their imagination and deepen their engagement with the performance. This guide not only includes vital information such as theatrical terms and character descriptions but also features creative activities like costume design and personal reflection exercises. With elements such as interviews with the cast and crew and insights into the creative process, this guide truly elevates the experience!
We're here to make your experience as smooth as possible! All you need to do is arrange transportation for your students to and from the event.
There are no specific space or set-up requirements for the program!

Adapted from the acclaimed works of Pulitzer Prize-winning author Frank McCourt, this performance navigates the intricate narrative of Irish history from the 20th and 21st centuries with a blend of wit and warmth. Students will gain insights into historical events while immersing themselves in the essence of Irish heritage, expressed through traditional folk ballads, patriotic love songs, and contemporary hits from artists like U2.

The experience spans 120 minutes and includes an electronic study guide designed to deepen students' understanding of the performance. This guide features essential theatrical terminology, character insights, and creative activities that promote thoughtful engagement and reflection. We encourage parents and guardians to communicate any specific accessibility requirements in advance, allowing us to tailor our support and ensure a welcoming environment for all participants.
Our program provides numerous opportunities for parents and guardians to engage actively in the theatrical experience. We encourage them to attend productions as audience members to offer their support and encouragement to students. The school, along with the teacher, will decide on the suitable number of chaperones needed for each event.
