SALSA DRUMMING is a 100% participatory activity,The leaders, Bob Bloom and Arnaldo Rivera partner with the students to play salsa music on a diversity of high-octane, Caribbean-style hand drums and percussion instruments. They take away incentive and skills to play along with their favorite Latin songs during school time and during after-school time with family, friends, and their community. The experiential activities build confidence, curiosity, innovation, self-regulation, and teamwork.
