A clean stage and enough audience space for the students to get up and move(in place). I also require one electrical outlet.
The show needs an indoor, empty, clean stage or floor space approx. 12ft deep x 25ft wide with added empty space for the entire audience to sit on the floor, stand and move comfortably.
1. I can name two positive & productive activities I love to do every day. 2. I can teach someone else the Pantomime lessons I learned today. 3. I can recall and sing the songs I learned in the workshop today. 4. I can write new verses to Scot"s "Cookie Song" using appropriate content, rhyme, rhythm, and meter. 5. I can incorporate the exercises and stretches I learned into my daily exercise routine. 6. I can integrate the skills I learned today in projects for other school subject areas.
In the Mime & Music Workshop Show you move, sing and learn more than you sit and watch. It is a 45-60 minute performance/workshop. The main objective of the show is to promote Positive and Productive activities as a way of life. I will teach how some of the basic mime illusions work. You will get to sing some of my songs and some other songs I like a lot. You will get to see my "Baby Guitar" , and my ukulele, probably hear some funny stories and eat invisible fruit. During the show I will be asking you to tell me what Positive & Productive things you do every day. Through physical and cognitive exercises during the workshop I demonstrate healthy practices and behaviors to promote a healthy life style. I chose Core Arts Anchor Standard (5 A) because the workshop/show is one physical, vocal and cognitive exercise after another. The lessons learned can transfer over to the theater or classroom setting. Always wear comfortable clothes because "Moving is the Message" . I want all the students to leave the show knowing at least two positive and productive things they will do every day. I will need a space for the audience that allows everyone to stand up and move in place. This program is done for grades K-5. All physical, vocal & cognitive activities are adapted in both content and presentation for different grades, abilities and behaviors.

Volunteers would be a great addition to the audience to take part in all activities.
