Kindergarten and Grade 1:
I can be curious and learn about ways my classmates and I are the same and ways that we are different.

I can learn ways to be a friend to my classmates.

I can learn lessons from listening to songs.

Grades 2 & 3:

I can understand why it is important to be kind and fair to classmates.

I can know different ways to help a classmate who is alone or teased and to make up after a fight with a friend.

I can learn lessons from listening to songs.
This playful and highly interactive program brings character education to life! Cyd sings songs about fairness, kindness, friendship, and solving problems with peers. Students listen, sing along, do movements, and even create their own lyrics, thus reinforcing the themes of the songs, as well as having a lot of fun.
Cyd asks students questions about the themes and issues in the songs. As they share their answers, at times in pairs and at times with the whole group, students learn from each other - as well as from the songs.
Different songs are used for different grades, focusing on age appropriate social interactions and challenges. Similarly, Cyd’s questions and the resulting discussions are tailored to each grade level.
