Assortment of buckets and barrels; Drumming sticks, mallets, and specialties; Percussion sound effects; Audio examples of bucket drumming.
Armless chairs; Flip chart or white board, or write-able Smartboard; CD boombox.
Can be presented in any available space. Access for setup at at least 30 minutes before start time.
I CAN enjoy bucket drumming in my neighborhood with friends, family members, and caregivers. I CAN be a team player; I CAN be dependable, self-disciplined, and follow directions.
Kids take away skills to enjoy playing music in school activities, and outside of school-time. They'll engage with musicians, dancers, singers, hip-hoppers, sportsters, actors, and family members.They learn how to: Use spoken language to create rhythm patterns; Groove on ordinary buckets and barrels. They experience teamwork. Grade-to-grade, the patterns amplify in challenge.

DRUM BUCKETS is inclusive of students with disabilities. Please contact Bob with information concerning their challenges. Adaptive musical items are available.
Four caregivers and adult family members are welcome to participate. Bob requires advance notice of their attendance to insure having enough buckets.

Grade 6

Grade 7
