Students make a Latin shaker instrument called "ganza" in Brazil. Common household construction materials and simple tools are provided. Kids work together in pairs. Bob leads them to play Latin rhythms on the shakers, and also on drums. Grade-to-grade, the rhythms increase in melody and tempo. The kids learn STEAM terms and concepts. They keep the ganzas.
