Program Learning Objective: I can follow the story based on the movements in the dance. I can identify the characters based on their movements. I can see how the music enhances the story. I can identify chcaracters and setting by the costumes and scenery.
Program Description: This abbreviated version of "Aladdin" is inspired by the tale that appeared in "Arabian Nights". It is a compilation of tales brought together from the east such as: China, India, Egypt, Iraq and Iran. It will integrate belly dancing, magicians, and actors with the ballet dancers, The students can expect to witness colorful characters, romance and humorous exploits.
Additional Notes: one performance - 364 tickets. Must have 250 attendees to hold the performance
Parent Engagement Opportunities: There are no volunteer opportunities available as the University has requirements for ushers that Ballet Theatre Company must abide by
