I will need 30 minutes to set up materials before the class. It helps if students rotate to one classroom where all materials are set up.
In-School Workshop Intended for individual classes of a grade level to experience separately.

Art and/or craft paper, glue, tape, scissors, hole puncher, color pencils, crayons, color markers, water color paints, plastic aprons, old comic books (if possible), magazines and books to cut out, sticks, yarn, thread, etc.
Permission for teachers to use students pictures in their art work.

I can use my words to tell a story about my art work.

I can draw pictures with crayons, color pencils, and color markers.

I can cut out pictures from old magazines and books, and paste them on my art work.
First what I will do is the In-School Workshop. I will present my previous projects for an example to students about what they will be doing. I will show them how I incorporated my art project with the materials I use to put together. For instance, I will show the students what I cut from old books, and magazines. I may show if I've done any coloring on painting with my projects. Also, students can use water colors too. They can choose how the way to make their own artwork. As well they can cut out shapes and objects from cut outs of a puncher that I will bring or cut them on their own. Students first will have a choice in what color paper they will use for their art work. The teacher and I will help assist students. Afterwards, when students complete their art work. They can tell what and how they did it. Pre-K and K students will be working on colorful paper bags with elements place on bags represent holidays to celebrate after completion projects will display outside classroom for recognition. 2nd graders will be doing a who, what, when, where, or why mini book collage made up construction colorful paper. They will start with who draw picture of themselves or bring one to class for the project and use their own elements from their life experience.
Teachers can help assist me with the students.
