About Carol Glynn
Carol Glynn is a writer, performer, and Master Teaching Artist. Check out her recent TED Talk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e1OtpLlO5Js. She works with students K-12 in dozens of classrooms each year and is a sought -after speaker and seminar leader. The Connecticut Department of Economic Development's Office of the Arts recognizes her as an Integrating Teaching Artist , a HOTS schools artist, and a Performer. She has been awarded the Distinguished Residency Artist Award by the Connecticut Alliance for Arts Education. Her extensive work with Hartford Performs, The Anti- Defamation League, The Penny Ante Theater, Creative Arts Parenting Programs, STAR (Support Those At Risk Teens), Prevention Players and other social organizations has lead her to performing and teaching in places as diverse as New York City’s Lincoln Center for Performing Arts and the Connecticut State Prison System. Author of Learning On Their Feet, A Sourcebook for Kinesthetic Learning Across the Curriculum,K-8, and the featured presenter in the kinesthetic videotape series, Carol Out of the Box , she presents keynote speeches and seminars internationally. Recently, she has been spotted singing with Barry Lane’s Literacy Cabaret in venues ranging from the MGM Grand in Vegas, to Busboys and Poets in our nations capital. She lives with her family in Niantic, CT.
