Materials Arts Provider Provides: Curious and accessible hand drums and percussion instruments. Large-print signs with phonetics-generated patterns of music for students to emulate on the instruments.
Materials School Provides: None
Space and/or Set Up Requirements for Program: DAY can be held in classrooms, auditoriums, gymnasiums, cafeterias, and multiple-use spaces. Available for room-to-room presentations so that kids can be "criss-cross applesauce" in their customary space.

Program Description: DAY ignites curiosity. Kids acquire phonological awareness. Grade-to-grade, the program amplifies their agility for the rhythms of reading. Kids are enticed by energetic activities that engage their voices, hearts, hands, and feet. DAY builds motor skills. Every student drums, sings, and moves.
Additional Notes: Educators take away ideas and skills to lead arts-integration activities throughout the school year. They're given Bob's play-along / move-along compact disc to support the activities. DRUMMING ABOUT YOU is inclusive for students with cognitive, physical, and multiple disabilities. Adaptive instruments and accessories are available.
Parent Engagement Opportunities: DRUMMING ABOUT YOU welcomes parents, siblings, and caregivers. They participate hands-on. They take away inspiration to make music together with kids at home. Bob requires advance notice of attendance to insure having enough instruments for their participation.
