I CAN mirror speech patterns to create melodic and rhythmic music; I CAN play plastic buckets to generate music with standard song form including beginnings and endings; I CAN play music with family members, caregivers,
friends, and the community.
Every student makes music. They play with Bob"s plastic buckets and tablespoons. He leads them to mirror rhythmic and melodic drumming patterns with energetic beats. They partner with him to launch Latin, African, and rock & roll songs.

Students experience how personal values can work to generate the excitement of successful group activities: Self-regulation, collaboration, empathy, and hard work.

They take away motivation and skills to integrate bucket drumming with activities such as drama and sports. Examples are the play "Once On This Island" , and double-dutch rope jumping.

They"re inspired to make music with their families, caregivers, and friends with plastic buckets and tablespoons that are commonly found in the community.
