We provide: bass and equipment, percussion instruments (maracas, bells, rhythm sticks, triangles, sand-blocks, and more), an age-appropriate book that is tailored to the specific program theme, and other props that support the program theme. Other props can include literacy and learning handouts for the students and teachers.
Arts providers will provide all materials necessary.
A chair with no arms, a room large enough for an active circle-time-like program, and an electrical outlet for musician"s gear.
I can answer questions about important details in a text. I can recognize rhyming words. I can explore and demonstrate awareness of music contrasts (such as high/low, loud/soft, same/different) in a variety of music selected for performance.
Let us combine reading, rhythm, and creativity for your students with our highly interactive classroom sessions! Every classroom session includes two people: a bassist (Garrett) and session leader (Hannah).

A typical session includes: active and engaging warm-up activities, dramatic reading of a book set to live music, creative dance activity, songs and finger-plays connect to the story, instrument activity, and our "Bye-Bye" song.

Two Right Feet's programs are easily adjusted to suit various grade levels. The PK and K music program is designed to stimulate a love of reading as well as kindergarten readiness. When working with 2 - 3 grade levels we have the children explore more complex concepts such as parts of speech, plot details, and dynamics when singing along.

Using the CCSS in ELA and the National Core Arts Standards in music and dance, it is our goal to promote: a love of reading and books, classroom kindness, and a playful approach to learning. See "˜Additional Notes" for our list of session themes!
