The pre-show workshop at the school is about 30 minutes. The performance at Playhouse on Park is approximately one hour with no intermission.
Combo of In-School Workshop & Offsite Performance We travel to your school and do a 30 minute workshop to prepare students for the production. A few days later students travel to Playhouse on Park to see the show. For each workshop, we try to meet two classes together in the same classroom. We will do multiple workshops at your school as needed to accommodate all classes.

This program includes a pre-show workshop at your school, then students travel to Playhouse on Park for the performance. The address of Playhouse on Park is 244 Park Rd in West Hartford, CT 06119.

Ideally the classroom for the pre-show workshop will allow us to move desks to create open space if needed.

I can understand how to be a good audience member for a theatre performance. I can ask appropriate questions about a play and listen for the answers.

Merrilee Mannerly loves good manners - in fact, she's practically an expert. Imagine Merrilee's surprise when a princess from a land of no manners moves in next door and invites her to a birthday party. With her grandmother's magnificent Manifesto of Manners in hand, Merrilee Mannerly is ready to help her new friend, Princess Posy, host the best party ever! Along the way, silliness ensues, friendships are formed, and the two girls discover the real secret behind good manners. MERILEE MANNERLY - A MAGNIFICENT NEW MUSICAL is a fun and energetic new musical based on the Mom's Choice Award-Winning book by Connecticut authors Mary Cashman and Cynthia Whipple. With lively music, dancing and lots of laughs, Merrilee Mannerly reminds us all that "Good Manners are Always in Fashion."
160 tickets are available for each performance.
Students need to attend the production with an appropriate number of chaperones, as determined by the school and the teacher. There is often an opportunity for a select number of caregivers to attend a production as a chaperone.
