Day 1: Provide an enigmatic or provocative phrase that student production groups must translate into video. Lesson planners can make up their own phrase for the occasion, for example: a line of poetry, a crossword puzzle clue, a phrase from the daily paper.

Students in a group will take on different positions to form a production group (a producer, a writer, a videographer, and an editor) to complete a quality video.

Students are given a phrase with the goal of interpreting and translating said phrase into a short scene (under 1 min) Student's will create a scenario, script it, shoot it.

Day 2: Students will edit the video they shot during day 1.
