I can tell you what is needed for a plant to grow, and describe its growth cycle. I can tell you how the following things help in gardening: worms, bees, ladybugs, spiders, compost, thinning, weeding. I can appreciate some differences between food that comes fresh from the garden, and that which comes from the store. I can try vegetables I've never eaten before and perhaps discover that I like them.
All ages are invited to laugh and learn as we get down and earthy, celebrating the joys of gardening in interactive song, comedy, and story. Animal helpers / puppets include: worm, ladybug, spider, bee. A lot of ground is covered in this show, learning about: germination, photosynthesis, pollination, seed saving, composting, soil science, nutrition and more...
