I can explore and recognize the work of Faith Ringgold. While reading Tar Beach by Faith Ringgold, I can point out who is telling the story at various points in the text. I can select and apply media, techniques and processes using construction paper and crayon to communicate a personal memory, ideas, feelings, experiences and stories to create my story quilt.
