We are a collaboration of award-winning, multi-disciplinary artists, David Anthone and Ron Norsworthy. Our current project, Another Country, is a series-in-process of 13 large format quilts made from souvenir matches memorializing the places where black people have been killed either by the police or extrajudicially. The project is inspired by the Underground Railroad quilts whose coded patterns were alleged to be used as guides to help the enslaved escape north to safe(r) haven. Our Creating Symbols of Social Justice Workshop is offered throughout the tri-state area. We live and work in Litchfield County, Connecticut where we share space with our two dogs, Penelope and Otto.
